Client Services Technical Associate

About the role

We are looking to hire a Client Services Technical Associate who will play an integral role in supporting technical solutions and training users within life science organizations. Some of the technologies that this role will be involved with are SQL Databases, Tableau, Oracle PBCS, and Informatica. We are looking for someone who has a strong technical background and is looking for a new opportunity to work in a lean, dynamic, and culturally driven environment.

What you’ll be doing as part of the Stratos Team:

  • Be primary point-of-contact for multiple managed services clients
  • Provide remote support for our clients in the areas of mini-projects, enhancements, maintenance, admin tasks, and issue resolution
  • Triage, analyze, prioritize, and resolve client requests with a sense of urgency
  • Develop and lead training workshops to enable business users to use their technology effectively
  • Develop step-by-step guides for key processes and common issues
  • Interface with clients to understand their ongoing and future needs
  • Learn about our clients’ industries and develop an understanding of business nomenclature
  • Learn about new technologies and business processes in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Provide industry and technology expertise and best practices to our clients
  • Create and maintain system documentation
  • Communicate complex, technical terms and processes to functional business users
  • Participate in internal initiatives to help grow the organization

About you and what type of skills you’ll need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, IT, computer science or relevant field
  • 0 – 4 years’ experience in a similar role; will consider recent college graduates with relevant course work/project experience
  • Experience in at least one of the following areas is preferred: 
    • Enterprise / Corporate Performance Management tools (e.g., Planful, Hyperion, Oracle EPM Cloud, Anaplan)
    • Data Integration & Business Intelligence / Analytics (e.g., Informatica PowerCenter / Cloud, Boomi, Mulesoft, Talend, Tableau, Oracle BI, Oracle SQL, Snowflake, Redshift) 
  • Ability to understand complex business processes and technical solutions
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities effectively
  • Desire and willingness to learn new technologies in support of client excellence and take ownership of new processes
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and professional presence
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excited to work collaboratively within a startup environment
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to quickly adapt to dynamic environments
  • Experience in the life sciences industry and familiarity with life sciences data sets (e.g., FP&A, Accounting, R&D, Commercial) helpful and preferred, but not essential 
  • Located in the Greater Boston area or willing to relocate to the Greater Boston area or fully remote on Eastern Standard Time
